Renaissance Scholars - Apprentice Artist Program
We are thrilled to announce the inaugural year of our Apprentice Artist Program, the Renaissance Scholars. Apprentices will have the opportunity to perform music of the Renaissance with our professional ensemble, as well as take part in workshops and masterclasses with professional singers or other professionals in the classical music field. All Apprentice Artists will be offered an hourly stipend as an independent contractor for our main concert set rehearsals & performances. There is no fee to apply. Students of all backgrounds, ethnicities, creeds, and identities are encouraged to apply. Auditions will be held in September. While there is no age limit to apply, we expect that applicants will be currently enrolled at least half time in college or university and have a voice teacher or coach with whom they work on a regular basis. Applicants do not need to be majoring in music, but should have a firm grasp of music theory, strong sight-singing capabilities, and familiarity with solfeggio for rehearsals.
